LEVEL 1 OF AN ISLAMIC LITERACY PROGRAM & DIPLOMA DESIGNED TO HELP MUSLIMS INDEPENDENTLY LIVE ISLAM BY PERFECTING THEIR PRACTICE AND DEEPENING THEIR UNDERSTANDING.
A DIPLOMA OF ISLAMIC LITERACY WILL BE AWARDED TO THOSE WHO COMPLETE THE ENTIRE PROGRAM & IT'S REQUIREMENTS.
SPECIALLY DESIGNED FOR TEENS & YOUNG ADULTS BUT APPROPRIATE FOR ALL MUSLIMS.
ISLAMIC LITERACY PROGRAM & DIPLOMA: 12 MONTH CURRICULUM WITH DISTINCT LEVELS THAT GRADUALLY ADVANCE IN BREADTH AND DEPTH CONSISTING OF 100-120 INSTRUCIONAL HOURS
LEVEL1: Absolute Essential of Islamic Living (6-8 weeks 12-16 hours)
LEVEL 3: Principles of Islamic Beliefs & Practice (3 months 26-30 hours)
LEVEL 4: Foundations of Islamic Study and it's Sciences (5 months 40-50 hours)
Each of the above levels are independent courses in themselves and will have mini-courses and seminars to fulfill each level's required content.
LEVEL 1
ABSOLUTE ESSENTIALS OF LIVING ISLAM
This is the first level of the 1-Year program which will include the following subjects over 6-8 weeks for a total of 12-16 hours of instruction. Each of these subjects will be covered in the following 4 modules:
Module 1: Intro to Studying Islam, Imaan, & The Shahaada
Each level and module can be taken independently of each other. Certificates awared for each level and a Diploma in Islamic Literacy is awarded after completion of all levels and all exams, assignments, and self-study are completed for the entire program.
Future levels will prioritize gradually introducing more depth to the above but add more breadth to the subjects being studied.
A meeting link to the course, Google Classroom, as well as the WhatsApp group with all students and instructor is provided upon registration.
The WhatsApp group will be the primary mode of communication with emails for important announcements. The group will also serve as the primary means to submit questions and any other logistical issues.
